  2. What is PC Specs? Computer hardware specifications are technical descriptions of the computer's components and capabilities. Processor speed, model and manufacturer. Processor speed is typically indicated in gigahertz (GHz). The higher the number, the faster the computer.

  3. How many specs does a PC have? Open the Charms bar, click Settings, and then click PC info. This will open up the System panel. In the System panel, you'll be able to see what type of processor you have, how much installed memory (RAM) you have, and what type of system you have (32-bit or 64-bit).

  4. How do I check my PC hardware specifications? For Windows 10 To check your PC hardware specs, click on the Windows Start button, then click on Settings (the gear icon). In the Settings menu, click on System. Scroll down and click on About. On this screen, you should see specs for your processor, Memory (RAM), and other system info, including Windows version.

  5. For Windows 7 To check your PC hardware specs, from the desktop find the icon that is labeled “My Computer”. Right-click on this and select Properties. A window should appear summarizing your PC hardware specs including processor, Memory (RAM), and other system info, including Windows version.

  6. Why glasses are called specs? The word glasses probably developed firstly from the word spyglass, often used for a telescope, and then adapted to “a pair of eyeglasses” that needed to be held up to the eyes for full effect. It was only when the lenses were connected to arms hanging over the ears that the term “spectacles” came into being.

  7. Benefits of PC Specs Computer reading glasses are specially made to help reduce eye strain. They have an anti-reflective coating to help reduce glare and a tint that helps increase contrast for easier viewing. For those of us who already wear glasses, prescription computer glasses are also available.
