When Mr. Pankaj Sudan, ex IAS accepted the challenge to fulfill his dream of opening a paradise. A paradise to children, a paradise to young professionals, a paradise to confused parents, and the list goes on. This dream place is nothing but our one and only, the Best International Boarding School in India, ThePlenum School. As said by Plato, “The beginning is the most important part of the work”, no matter how difficult it was to build a fully facilitated school at a place covered with dense foliage, amidst mountains, and in a complete remote sphere. But it was constructed successfully in the mesmerizing hills of Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. By mid-2018, the school was functional. I, Saloni Jakhar, a 23-year-old Delhite, always had a passion to teach. After completing my Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Delhi in 2019, and, with no extra teacher training and experience, got an opportunity in January 2020 to be a part of the Best Cambridge Boarding school in India, that is, The Plenum School. I Still remember the first interaction with Mr. Sudan about my reaction to seeing the campus around, and that was “RAW”. Everything was in its natural state, bumpy roads, mountains being mountains- land/rocks sliding down. I always dreamt of staying at a place surrounded by hills, peace all around, away from the hustles of city life, and I landed in this school.

2. Gradually Henry David Thoreau’s lines proved true for me, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined”. This life is what I imagined, beyond professional opportunities, I have grown as a human being. Much closer to the environment, animals, our little children, the importance of humanity seems supreme. Confidence in conquering myself, keeping the enthusiasm of learning throughout, is what I have been a part of. In all likelihood, the journey of The Plenum School, the Best International Boarding School in India has not been less than that of a ship. A ship sailing across the ocean, waves hitting hard (Covid19 Pandemic), still enduring. As the sailor and the crew imagine sailing beyond that dawn in the ocean, even this institution is inevitable to reach those endless limits and being the best amongst its realm. This approximately one and half year journey of mine in The Plenum School, the Best Cambridge Boarding School in India, has not been less than a roller coaster ride. From being happy with everyone around to sharing each other & concerns, from that “RAW” statement to “Wow” has not taken time to change. Gradually but continuously improving, no doubt The Kaizen’s Approach is being followed successfully. Growing together, making memories, being happy, carefree, unlearning to learn new, there’s no stopping for us. Here’s to the new beginnings, new ideas, new energy, excitement, and surprises.
