  2. History At the beginning 1987The developing a new crystal growth furnace for MIR was started. It called UMC (Universal Multizone Crystallizator) 1990- After the collapsing of Soviet Union the scientist team turned to NASA. Close connection with Marshall Space Flight Center. 1994-1996 UMC was in MSFC 2000-2001 UMC was in MSFC again New period 2000 The scientist team founded the Admatis Ltd (ADvanced MATerials In Space). The owners are Hungarian private individual. 2002 The NASA bought a special equipment, called Double Decker UMC. 2000- Admatis developed some techologies for NASA/ESA platforms: - future inserts and cartridges for ISS MSL - development of advanced foams under microgravity - measurement thermal conductivity of melts in drop tower - crystal grow technology demonstration on microsatellites info@admatis.com www.admatis.com

  3. Main activities: ₪ AdSpace (Admatis Space Technology) Special equipments for micro- or macrogravity experiments. (ISS, Drop Tower, Microsatellites, Parabolic flight, Huge centrifuge) ₪ AdTech (Admatis Technical Support) Ground based technical support for universities and laboratories (The science belongs to researchers groups and technology to Admatis). ₪ AdFoam (Admatis Foaming) Taking part in ESA Metallic Foam MAP. Developing a new foaming technique in order to produce shaped metal foams. Admatis intends to make a foaming experiment in ISS in framework of SURE project. Future goal: metal foam production in framework of TechnoPolis (National Research and Development Programme). ₪ AdInf (Admatis Infrared Support) Admatis launches a new service for industry, universities and inhabitants.
