  2. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is a franchise cricket team that competes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, and is owned by United Spirits, a subsidiary of British alcoholic beverages company Diageo. RCB was founded in 2008 and has since then established a strong presence in the IPL. Despite their popularity, the team has yet to win an IPL championship, coming close in 2009, 2011, and 2016 where they finished runners-up. The team has had a star-studded lineup over the years, with some of the biggest names in world cricket having played for them at some point. One of their most famous players is Virat Kohli . Kohli has been with RCB since 2008 and has been their most consistent performer over the years, scoring over 6000 runs in the IPL with an average of over 38. Other notable players who have played for RCB include AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell , Faf du plessis , Finn Allen, Virat Kohli . The team has also had some promising young talent over the years, including the likes of Siddarth Kaul , Mahipal Lomror and Mohammed Siraj. The team is known for its aggressive and flamboyant style of play, with a focus on big- hitting batsmen and fast bowlers. This approach has often resulted in high-scoring matches and some thrilling encounters, but it has also been criticized for its lack of balance and reliance on a few key players.
