Early Life and Education: Amit Jain was born in Rohtak, Haryana, India. He completed his schooling in Rohtak and went on to earn a degree in engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business. Career: After completing his MBA, Amit Jain worked as an investment banker in New York for several years. He then returned to India and started his entrepreneurial journey by launching several startups. In 2015, Amit Jain and his brother, Saurabh Jain, co-founded Collegedekho. The idea behind the startup was to create an online platform that would help students find and apply to colleges in India. The platform provides detailed information about colleges, courses, admission procedures, fees, and more. It also helps students apply to multiple colleges at once and track their application status. Within a few years of its launch, Collegedekho became one of the largest college search platforms in India. The startup has raised over $10 million in funding from investors, including RPS Ventures and Man Capital. It has also partnered with several colleges and universities across India.
