What is Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Action? • Part of European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme 2014-2020 -> KA107  • Managed by the National Agencies in Programme Countries • Programme country HEIs apply from their own NA: One application per HEI per application round!  • Calls for Proposals organised annually

What is Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Action? • Student Mobility for Studies  • Credit mobility : Recognition of studies at the home institution  • Staff mobility for Teaching and Training  • Teaching assignments: Minimum 8 teaching hours per week to local students  • Staff training: Professional development of the staff member through job shadowing, workshops etc.

What is Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Action? • Global mobility = between Programme and Partner Countries • Majority incoming from Partner Countries  • Partner Countries around the world can participate, except (Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican, Switzerland, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates)

  9. What is Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Action? • The participating Institutions must be minimum one from program country and one from an eligible partner country • All Partner Country institutions must be HEIs (accredited by the relevant national accreditation body) and have signed inter-institutional agreements with their Program Country partners before the mobility takes place • Mobility can be both incoming and outgoing • Funding comes from EU budget for external cooperation (Heading 4)

  10. Proposal Submission • Only Institutions from program countries are eligible to submit applications for International mobility (KA107) • HEIs’ applicants should study the Call and all criteria carefully (Additional Eligibility, Exclusion, Selection) • The priorities and the strategy of program Institution for development and cooperation with the partner countries • Study the application form and prepare all the documents and information requested by the on-line application form

  11. Length of mobilities • Student mobility 3 – 12 months • Teacher and staff mobility 5 days– 2 months • Teacher and staff mobilities based on inter-institutional agreements between HE institutions (not from or to private companies)  • Management follows the same principles as in intra- European Erasmus+ mobility  • Learning Agreement for Studies / Mobility Agreement for Staff  • Grant agreements for students and staff 

  12. Learning Agreement/Mobility Agreement Learning Agreement/Mobility Agreement • signed between Program Country HEI, Partner Country HEI and participant • Mobility activities should take place as approved by NA • Possibility for few amendments after approval by NA
