  2. Each year the FDOT updates its Five-Year Work Program and requests that Alachua County submit transportation project priorities for consideration as part of that update process.

  3. Alachua County asks municipalities to submit transportation project priorities for consideration as part of that update process. All municipalities contacted The current 5 year work program has previous applications funded in Archer, Newberry, LaCrosse and in the unincorporated area (Archer Braid, SW 8th Ave) New projects ranked by County staff

MULTI-MODALFISCAL YEAR 2013/14 – 2017/18 Project Location and Description 1 Waldo: US 301 connecting sidewalks from downtown to the commercial area north of town. 3.0 miles total estimated at $650,000 2 Town of Micanopy: 3 sidewalk projects linking historic district to US 441, historic district to Native American Heritage Preserve and link to Micanopy Middle School. 1.3 miles total $166,360

TRANSIT PRIORITIES FISCAL YEAR 2013/14 – 2017/18 Project Location and Description 1 Park and Ride Lot - City of Alachua - Park and Ride facility and RTS bus purchase. 2 Park and Ride Lot - City of Archer - Park and Ride facility and RTS bus purchase. 3 Park and Ride Lot - City of Hawthorne - Park and Ride facility and RTS bus purchase.

  10. * FUNCTIONALLY OBSOLETE BRIDGE PRIORITIES FISCAL YEAR 2013/14 – 2017/18 Project Location and Description 1 121A in LaCrosse 2 CR 346 @ River Styxx * Functionally obsolete: structurally-sound but may need modifications to lane widths, approaches, guard rails, etc. to bring the bridge up to current standards
