  1. HOW TO USE PORTABLE OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR ?

  2. Portable Oxygen Concentrator(POC) is used for them who are suffering from respirotary problem and having low level of oxygen in their blood. Portable Oxygen Concentrator runs on battery and if battery gets discharge it can be charged by plugging in electrical circuit or it can be replaced with new battery.

  3. Working Methods: The working method of Portable Oxygen Concentrator is very simple. It gathers air from surrounding environment including Nitrogen. POC lower the level of Nitrogen so that it can be full of Oxygen and passes to patient. According to Wikipedia, “the basic setup consists of miniaturized air compressor, a cylinder filled with containing the sieve, a pressure equalizing reservoir and valves as well as tubes.”

At initial, the Nitrogen molecules gets absorbed by filter which is made of silicate granules and when its done than its passes the pressure to equilizer reservoir valves and tubes of the patient. Due to 78% of Nitrogen and 28% of Oxygen in environment, Natural air is used to balnce the concentration. The amount of Oxygen depends on patient health and doctor recommendation. Portable Oxygen Concentrator(POC) has various other feature like it can provide oxygen through a mask to a patients and in addition in-built cooling mechansim is install to prevent it from overheating.
