  1. The Importance of Exercise Physiologists justpaste.it/7r9n6 The significance of exercise physiology is important to every athlete, but particularly to the serious athlete who is looking to train for a particular event. When you are preparing for an athletic event or competition, the body goes through tremendous changes and it can be difficult for the mind to keep up. Often the athletes who are world-class in the sport they are participating in will not enter into a competition that is going to require the extreme physical training that the sport requires. This means that the competitors who do enter such events can have an advantage over competitors without the physical work involved in the event they are competing in. The importance of this discipline to the athlete should not be underestimated. It provides a scientific and mathematical way to track how your body is performing during a specific workout or exercise. There are many different types of physiology and these include the cardiovascular system, the muscular and skeletal systems, the endocrine system, the nervous system, and the immune and respiratory systems. All of these parts of the body require exercise in order to stay healthy and perform at their best. Understanding the meaning of exercise The physical work that is required is often not easy to define in words. It is important for an athlete to know and understand the meaning of exercise to understand why they must train hard. It is also important to understand that their training sessions do not have to be hours long as some athletes will continue working out for as little as 20 minutes. In fact, even a short jog around the block will provide benefits to an athlete. The importance of exercise can be understood through the understanding of the energy process and how the body uses it. The energy process is broken down into three levels of energy: The Central Energy System ( Chao), the Endocrine System ( nerves), and the Urinary Energy System ( kidneys). A good way to improve the efficiency of your cardiovascular system is by getting more exercise. This does not mean that you have to run marathons or spend countless hours in the gym. Simple exercises that involve the use of the upper body can have very positive effects on your heart. It is important for an athlete to consult with their doctor before undergoing any type of exercise program to make sure that they are healthy enough to do so. If your doctor gives the go-ahead, then you can start planning your next workout. 1/2

  2. The importance of exercise can also be seen in the increase in muscle mass that people experience after weight training. As more muscles are built, more calories can be burned. This can reduce the risk of injury to the joints and promote better health. Athletes who participate in high-intensity workouts regularly face little or no training- related injuries. This is due to the fact that their muscles are constantly being strained and repaired. If someone is looking to get their body in shape or want to maintain their fitness, they should prefer consulting an exercise physiologist. If you will search on the internet then you will find websites of several physiologists like thebetteryoo.com. 2/2
