EM 1 Orientation Month • All interns are in the ED for July • ATLS, ACLS, PALS end of June • US course • Introduction to core applications • Start saving images for credentialing immediately • Other topics are worked into GR every 2 months • Lectures • Nursing shifts • Clinical shifts • Start seeing sick patients immediately!

16. Trauma Room • Trauma alerts • Run by the EM program with trauma surgery back up if needed • Trauma activations • Run by EM and trauma surgery programs • A shared responsibility • Airways managed by EM program
