  1. Cai guo Qiang By: Omar El-Mousa and MyreAdnan and NOAHHHH

  2. introduction • He was in 1957 in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China. His artistic skills were first trained at the Shanghai Theater Academy. He learned about gunpowder in Japan from 1986 to 1995.

  3. His Artwork • Cai artwork includes gunpowder. His signature artwork is the gunpowder drawings. Explosions, bangs, firworks and soaring dragons characterize his work.Hisuse of gunpowder to make art is very unique and difficult to do. He is trying to bring arabic art to the modern world.

  4. My Opinion • I do like his artwork because I have never seen gunpowder art before. It seems fun and really artistic.

  5. Exhibit • The name of the exhibit is Saarab. Sahaab continues the MATHAF’S commitment of bringing an arabic perspective to the modern day art.Oneproject of his that I liked is this: • Project for Extraterrestrials No.7Rebuilding the Berlin WallGunpowder fuses will be placed along the former Berlin Wall to a length of 2,800 metres. The duration of the explosion will be 28 seconds. The wall, which will be rebuilt in a flash of light and smoke at the time of the explosion, will be broadcast by satellite transmission. The broadcast signals will also be transmitted into space. This project reminds people of the existence of walls as a symbol of the restrictions on human beings that we must free ourselves from - through the momentary re-creation of a wall.

  6. I like this Because it is very colorful and original. I have never seen such art and it would be great up close.
