HIGHLIGHTS Life of the Group • La Société Marseillaise de Crédit acquired by Crédit du Nord. • Launch of the 2010 Group Innovation Awards. • Launch of the 2010-2011 season of CITIZEN ACT, Societe Generale’s Business Game, which educates students throughout the world about CSR. • Jérôme Kerviel found guilty of breach of trust, fraudulent entry of data into an automated system, forgery and use of forgeries. He has appealed.

HIGHLIGHTS Products and services • ALD Automotive launches an eco-driving iPhone application and ALD Sharing, a new car pooling solution. • Societe Generale offers "CAPTIS 3", a new 90%-protected capital investment as well as two new investments with guaranteed capital at maturity: "ARIMEO Evolution 2" and "RENDEO 4". • ALD Automotive: “Best in customer service 2011". • Sogessur: "Label d’Excellence" for its Auto Insurance (Dossiers de l’Epargne). • Societe Generale Securities Services: six ratings (Global Custodian). • Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking: Best Bank for ALM Advisory (Life & Pensions Magazine). HIGHLIGHTS Businesses • Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking is awarded the status of Primary Dealer in the United Kingdom. • Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking joins the bond trading platform on the Warsaw stock market, Catalyst, as part of the strengthening of its Fixed Income business in Poland. • Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros enhances its presence in the United Kingdom with the opening of a new office in Edinburgh. • Credit Suisse Securities Europe Ltd. mandates Societe Generale Securities Services for the provision of pricing services. • Societe Generale Private Banking teams up with Copal Partners to strengthen Equity Research. • Banka Popullore adopts the Societe Generale Albania brand. • Societe Generale Morocco joins forces with Client au Grand Coeur, an operation on the migrant markets initiated by the Regional Delegation of Bordeaux.

Human Resources • Success of the “Job in a Day” recruitment initiative: 160 attendees, 71 permanent contracts offered. • Commitment to equality: Societe Generale supported the La Tribune Women’s Awards initiative and participated in the Women’s Forum in Deauville. • Societe Generale gives employees a comic book to raise awareness of disabilities at work. • Implementation of an obligatory professional certification demonstrating regulatory knowledge for market professionals. Appointments • Inès-Claire Mercereau, Chairman and CEO of Boursorama. • Gianluca Soma, Head of Societe Generale Consumer Finance (Specialised Financial Services). He also retains his role as Head of Operational Vehicle Leasing and Fleet Management at ALD Automotive. • Hans van Beeck, Head of Investor Relations and Financial Communication. • Patrick Sommelet, CFO and Head of Support Functions at Boursorama.

HIGHLIGHTS Sponsoring • Fifteen years of commitment to artistic creation: Societe Generale’s contemporary art collection on display at the International Contemporary Art Fair in Paris. • Societe Generale Asia-Pacific launches the 2010 Chinese Art Awards, an innovative contemporary art competition aimed at discovering and supporting emerging Chinese artists.
