  14. What will happen if we don’t go to two CG’s? • When students get back, some students AND adults will probably turn away due to being unable to simply find a place to park or sit. • You can argue that those who are really interested will find a way to be there, but I think it is wise to remove as many obstacles as possible for seekers.

  15. What will happen if we don’t go to two CG’s? • You can also argue that our CG is not our main thing, but LG’s are and so what is the big deal. • This fails to take into account that many people are won to Christ or into community via CG attendance. • It also fails to take into account the power of the CG to generate a sense of momentum and vision beyond one’s circle.

  16. What will happen if we don’t go to two CG’s? • You can also argue that trying to do more than one CG will put too much strain on volunteers and leaders. • I think this argument places convenience over growth & vision • I think we will all step up to the challenge if we get the vision

  17. What will happen if we don’t go to two CG’s? • I believe we are getting to a point where not multiplying our CG in some way is basically deferring to a no-growth mentality. • Can we really be ok with that before the Lord?

  18. What is it going to take to go to two CG’s? • Ultimately we would love to have KidsLIFE for every CG, but we have to start where we are at. • Full KL for one CG & nursery for the other • Going to need other volunteers • Setup & Tear down • KL • Music & Sound • Video (slides)

  19. When? • Either when KSU starts (Aug. 25) or wait until later in September • Possible CG sample times: • Sunday @ 9am & 11am • Sunday @ 10am & 5pm

  20. What are we asking of you? • Prayerfully consider how you can put your shoulder to the plow • Offer constructive ideas • Remember this is an opportunity for all of us to grow in self-giving love for the sake of the Gospel • Pray for the elders & staff to have wisdom & courage • Whatever is decided, jump in there an give it a go!
