  5. Economy • Our turnover is about 350 msek/year • Income • 200 milj in taxes • 100 milj in governments grants • 50 milj in charges • Costs • 60% of our costs is vages

  6. Population • The municipality has 5,400 residents, 2,500 of these in Vindeln itself • 2.0 people per square kilometre

  8. Good for children • Preschool (age 1-5) is provided at 5 sites • Childcare in other form exist at several places • (Childminders) • 80% of the parents use some sort of childcare

  9. Education • Schools for age 6-8 at two sites, age 6-12 at three sites and age 13-15 at one site all within the 10-year compulsory school • Upper secondary school, • age 16-18 • Adult education – Learning Centre • Independent adult education college • Cost about 100 msek/year

  10. Elderly care • 3 blocks of serviceflats with 90 flats for elderly people who need care and help with daily living. • Home help service to elderly people still living in ordinary accomodation • Cost about 100 msek/year

  16. Gender Equality in organization • Analysis of salaries every third year • Plan to eliminate differenses that can´t be excplained • Education in gender equality to all supervising personell • Recruiting people, try to encourage mixed working teams in order to provide equal service
