Enhancing Community HR Strategies for Child Health Interventions

This initiative focuses on mapping the human resources available at the community level, necessary for delivering an integrated package of essential health services for children. In collaboration with RO/HQ partners, we aim to identify gaps in recruitment, training, and remuneration strategies to ensure that we reach the majority of children by the end of 2008. Additionally, RO representatives will create a task team to promote country strategies designed to scale up behavior change around crucial practices such as breastfeeding, ITN utilization, handwashing, ORT use, and newborn care.
