  1. Transform Your Idea To Life

  2. 3D Scanning • 3D Scanning technologies allow for the creation of 3-dimensional objects. By using 3D scanning you will be able to capture a digital copy of a physical real world object. • 3D scanning has become a viable method to create a 3D virtual model of an existing physical part for use in the reverse engineering process. It allows data to be captured digitally without damaging the physical object being scanned. It is a way of capturing an object’s exact size and shape. • Engineers, product designers, and researchers use 3D scanners as a faster and more efficient way to start constructing digital models, whether by incorporating existing designs via reverse engineering, digitizing hand-sculpted clay designs, or referencing the exact shape of the human body. • Visit us : 3D Scanning

  3. Our Process Materials Scanning the model The model is scanned using a Structured light/laser scanner from various angles, in order to capture the entire surface of the model. The scanner software creates a point cloud data that resembles the external surface of the model. Post processing the scan data The point cloud data is just a set of points. The data is cleaned by removing unwanted points, outliers etc. It is then used to generate the mesh of the model surface in STL or OBJ format. This mesh contains holes, noise shells, which are removed. Further smoothening, sharpening and other enhancements of the mesh are carried out. Finally, the alignment and orientation of the mesh is set and the 3d object is ready for 3d printing. Modelling in CAD software The mesh models are not easy to edit and it is necessary to convert them into parametric CAD. This is carried out in the CAD software. The mesh is used as a reference and provides precise dimensions for modelling and with the use of CAD tools, a solid body is created. The final model is ready in STEP or IGES format and can be used for manufacturing. It can also be edited in any other CAD software also.
