  3. Where they are located • Tennessee State University – Nashville, Tennessee • Howard University- Washington D.C • Michigan State University- East Lansing, Michigan

  4. Tuition • Tennessee State University – $12,526 • Howard University-10,185 • Michigan State University- 11,722

  5. How I plan to cover cost • Scholarships – band and academic • Financial Aid • Loans • My parents

  6. Why is this good for me • Tennessee State University is good for me because it has my major that I want to go into and their band is great and the college atmosphere down there is something that fits me. • Howard University is good for me because they have a specialized program for what I am trying to go into. An 8 year BA/MD program. They also have a great band. • Michigan State University is good for me because I have been going to that campus since I was little because that is where my mom graduated for me. I am very comfortable there and it is close to home. They do not have a traditional marching band but they do have other music programs that I am interested in.

  7. What will it take • If I attend Tennessee State University it will take 4 years. • If I attend Howard University it will take 6 ½ years and I will graduate with my BA/MD. • If I attend Michigan State it will take 4 years.

  8. Problems • Choosing which college I want to go to out of those three. • Paying for tuition
