  4. Pre-formatted vs. Blank doc • Using a blank document is preferred. They offer… • Greater flexibility • Effective use of space • Individual style formatting • Creativity

  5. Do you need to include an objective? It is not required, but it is an effective way to communicate the purpose of your resume!

  6. Should I include experience from high school? Perhaps during your first two years of college, but usually by your junior year you can begin to omit outdated experiences. You want to highlight your current abilities!

  7. Should I include summer work experience? Some summer work can add to certain transferable skills like teamwork, time management, and problem solving. So, when relevant, include summer work experiences!

  8. Overall Appearance Resume’s should be no longer than 3 pages Proofread!
