In 2012, significant advancements were made in biodiversity data accessibility, including web-based training for taxonomy and processing of multimedia files now shared on OpenUp!, GBIF, and BioCASe. Collaborations with Naturalis facilitated the availability of multimedia resources. Development efforts included the Catalogue of Life tools, a new CMS called Linnaeus NG, and mobile keys for iPhone and Android. In 2013, we focused on running Catalogue of Life services, migrating databases to a central system at Naturalis, and ongoing development of BioPortal and Mobile Keys.
