  2. SX5: ME+1 (12+6) All chambers timed in Finalizing ME1/3 timing Calibration data available for ME+1/1 and ME+1/2. Next: ME+1/3 ME+2 (5) ME+3 (4) No changes Green Barrack Trigger No changes TTC No changes (GB cont’d) FED 4 DDUs (all in use) non standard set-up: one DDU per peripheral crate (easier diagnostics) Temporary layout for DDU #3 and #4: #3: all ME1/1 and ME1/2 chambers #4: all ME1/3 chambers Only until next Global DAQ run DCC firmware updated Waiting for DAQ validation run Local DAQ two DAQ PCs. each takes care of 2 spy-channel inputs all 4 spy channels are read out FMM No change Global DAQ overnight run this week Problem with FRL after HCAL installation caused power failure on FRL/FMM racks. sTTS got nicely raised after the LTC detected a “disconnect”  Frans Meijers et al. are looking into this. status

Short term plans • YE+1 • finish calibration of all ME+1/3 chambers • To do: ME+1/1 HV scan and HE-integration tests (not sooner then next week) • Global DAQ runs • FED (this week) • set-up 2nd S-Link in DCC • rearrange DDUs: each DDU takes care of one PerCr • easier diagnostics • ME+2 and ME+1a in one S-Link while ME+3 and ME+1b in the 2nd S-Link • YE+2 (start: end of this week) • replace TMBs and RATs with production versions • fill up crates: 2x9 chambers • Maraton powersupply modification: when is downtime acceptable? • Redo calibration on all chambers • Green Barrack (next week) • prepare Local DAQ farm layout • prepare removal desktops (emuslice04 and dqm machine)

  4. Open Issues • Local DAQ stable running • reading from 4 DDUs • interfacing: cscSV integration, standalone GUI • Peripheral Crate Core Lib • tag & release core/applic lib • rearrange directory structure (reflect core/applic separation) • documentation … • Local DAQ mini-farm • Proposal is circulating • emuslice02 -> emudaq/emuserver • central point of access for all local daq data • RAID disk (~1TB) for temporary storage • DQM, CASTOR and Fermilab’s dCache scripts • hosts the central “slice” account, to be used by all other clients • possibly adding a few other centralized accounts, e.g. “dcs” • emucom01 & emuslice06 -> emudaq01 & emudaq02 • data communication with emudaq over EMU-LAN (10.0.0.x) • E-Log: everybody who works on the SliceTest/MTCC should start using the central E-Log facility … now. • http://cmsdaq/elog and select Subsystems/CSC • use your AFS credentials to view entries • create an account (don’t use the same password as your AFS)

  5. Important Dates • Friday May 19: Comprehensive MTCC readiness review • hardware and software readiness of each subsystem • No official changes in MTCC schedule.
