2. Blue hills Blue hills are called so, because during winter the pine trees look like they are not green but blue. There is also a legend about it.

3. Hazenhill park Lazdukalna (Hazenhill) park, also known as Spakovska park, is very famous in our town and it belongs to Benita and John Spakovsk. There are many sorts of trees and a swing. There is also a tower. It is 37 metres tall.

4. Culture center Ogre Culture centre is a place where come to watch theatre and listen to good Latvian music, children sing or dance and different events take place there.

5. Kurhouse Kurhouse is an arhitectural monument in Ogre. It was built in 1926. It is located at the center of the town in a beautiful place next to the street. The owner of the Kurhouse is Paul Bauman. He opened a cafe there and also a jewlery.

6. Town hall The Town hall is very beautiful, because from 2013 it’s got a new design. It is very important too, because council meetings are organized there.

7. Bear Erick This sculpture of a bear is named Erick. The sculpture is located on a very small hill, opposite the street. Erick weights500 kg.Children love Erick.

8. Ogre`s bridge This bridge is a very famous place in Ogre because many people put their wedding keys on the bridge sides and they call the bridge – The love bridge.

9. Our school Our school is very interesting and from the last year it has a new design. Our school looks like it’s built from lego bricks. There are 4 floors. There are 3 cafes, a cloakroom, a library, a gym and a hall.

10. Church This is one of 4 our town`s churches. This is a Catholic church. It is in our town centre and it is near the road. In the yard there are some lights and they work with solar energy.

11. The rivers in Ogre. There are two rivers in Ogre –Daugava and Ogre. The town Ogre has got its name from this river.There is a place in our town Ogre where both rivers meet.Ogre is the third longest river in Latvia, but Daugava is the widest.
