  3. INCREASE OF R 15 575 000 • The increase is compiled as follows: • Roll-overs R 14 783 000 • Other Adjustments R 792 000 • TOTAL R 15 575 000

  4. ROLL-OVERS R 14 783 000 • Roll-overs consist of : • SRSA funds of previous year R 1 483 000 • Department of Justice R 800 000 • World Cup Projects R12 500 000 • TOTAL R14 783 000

  5. ROLL-OVERS SRSA FUNDS • Committed but not paid R 783 000 • Projects not committed R 700 000 • TOTAL R 1 483 000

  6. ROLL-OVERSDEPT OF JUSTICE • Amount received R 800 000 • This amount was paid to SRSA for expenditure related to the SARFU court case. The amount was paid into revenue, but National Treasury approved it for utilization. National Treasury included this amount as part of the roll-overs.

  7. ROLL-OVERSWORLD CUP LEGACY PROJECTS • Government’s contribution to the World Cup Legacy Projects amount to R 12 500 000 • National Treasury approved this amount, which was available on the Vote of the Department of Trade and Industry as a roll-over to SRSA.

  8. OTHER ADJUSTMENTSR 792 000 • National Treasury allocated this amount to SRSA in order to cover the cost of higher than expected salary increases and the effect of the increase in general inflation.

  9. SHIFTING OF FUNDS WITHIN PROGRAMMES • Programme 1 : R 112 000 • Programme 2 : R 700 000

  10. SHIFTING OF FUNDSPROGRAMME 1 • An amount of R 112 000 was budgeted under transfer payments as a contribution towards the THETA. Seeing that government departments are not obliged to contribute and reclaim training expenditure, this amount was shifted to Professional and Special services. Direct payments can be made to service providers.

  11. SHIFTING OF FUNDSPROGRAMME 2 • An amount of R 700 000 was shifted between sub-programmes within Programme 2, in order to have more training provided by the SASC. This shift remains within the same standard item, transfer payments.
