  2. Introduction Bafana Bafana (The Boys), our National Football Team, is a proud and respected brand within South Africa. Having represented SA on the World Cup stage, AFCON tournaments as well as in the Confederations Cup, Bafana Bafana has a loyal and solid fan base, and ever since our successful hosting of the 2010 World Cup, they gained even more fans, including white South Africans. The event also kick started “Football Fridays”, where all South African across the spectrum joined in supporting our team by wearing the national colours. Under the current leadership of Gordon Igesund Bafana Bafana has gained in both confidence and stature. Catch their latest matches in June when they battle both Central African Republic and Ethiopia as we attempt to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
