  3. What are the Challenges for Lacquers? • High levels of VOC • Bad smelling, hazardous solvents

  4. How can we solve these issues? • Formulate lacquer with exempt solvents.

  5. Problems with Exempt Solvents • Removal of Toluene from system results in poor adhesion, particularly to steel substrates

  6. The Solution? • Peacock Labs has created Permalac NT. An acrylic lacquer with adhesion and durability comparable to traditional acrylics and under 20 g/l VOC.
