Current Role (2013 to present in oman oil marketing company) GM Corporate affairs, Customer Services, Human Resources, Administration, HSSE & Procurement Accountable to Lead, Plan and Manage the strategic functions of OOMCO Corporate Affairs, HR, Admin, Customer Services, HSSE. Procurement Member of Executive Management Team: • Member of the Executive Management team • Shared Responsibility with the Executive Management for setting the strategic direction of the Company, developing annual operating business plans. • Shared Responsibilities with the Executive Management team in settings and approving Corporate KPI and performance targets for the Company. • Shared Responsibility with Executive Management team to review the performance of company supporting business units.

Corporate Affairs & Customer services • Establish and manage the required organization and resources to plan and lead the positioning of the Company’s image vis-à-vis competitors by managing, reviewing, analyzing and coordinating the corporate identity and branding strategies in the Company to achieve the Company’s business objectives. • Establish and maintain effective Public Relation’s set-up to manage relevant key Ministries, community associations, top corporate organizations and general public, and represent the Company as and when required on public events. • Establish and manage the processes and the organization for proper communication and conformance of the Company’s brand through effective handling and management of the brand usage internally or externally. • Identify, select and manage PR agencies effectively to ensure timely and quality PR services, event management, media & communications management and CSR and sponsorship initiatives and requests. • Develop customer services and call center department and equip it with the right resources and tools. Develop the management frameworks, process and processes for the new department. • Manage the transformation process towards setting up OOMC as customer service oriented organization • Provide leadership in the functional area of Corporate Identity & Branding.

Human Resources and Administration • Responsible for HR Policy formulation, setting and proposing HR policies to the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer. • Lead, plan, direct and manage the whole spectrum of HR functions consisting manpower planning, job evaluation, recruitment, training, staff and leadership development, remuneration and retention, industrial relations and administration to support the Company’s immediate and long term objectives. • Review and update the company’s Main HR/Personnel policies and procedures document (ERM) to provide competitiveness to the company’s business objectives and strategies within the regulatory framework.

HR - Continue… • Plan, analyze and set strategies to achieve the optimum organizational structure and optimum manning level (grades and numbers) to achieve the immediate and long term growth business objectives and strategies. • Responsible for developing the short term and long term manpower plan for the Company. • Actively facilitate reviews of organizational structure and performance and optimize their span of control. • Act as the catalyst and change agent through appropriate coaching, counseling & training to facilitate and expedite the desired changes in the Company and carry the Team through from ‘storming’ to norming and performing state faster. • Plan, analyze and set recruitment strategies, policies and procedures. • Effectively manage the recruitment process.

HR - Continue… • Plan, analyze and set attraction, retention and carrier development strategies. • Develop a framework for talent management and carrier development paths for key employees in the Company. • Lead and manage the company’s performance management system, annual performance and feedback systems (upward feedback, peer evaluation, performance planning and appraisal) to ensure effective and fair implementations at all levels. • Lead and undertake skills and competency assessment gap vis-à-vis the needed training and recruitment interventions to enhance the Company’s competitiveness.

HR - Continue… • Plan, analyze and set succession strategies to ensure business continuity during the unplanned • Identify, develop and ensure effective leadership continuity for the Company through leadership development program and effective succession planning. • Develop staff succession planning program through identifications of right talent and retention through a structured job assignments, training, performance based remuneration, mentoring and staff/leadership development programs in the Company. • Facilitate rightsizing initiatives to make sure that business units are effectively sized with efficient resources.

HR - Continue… • Ensure accurate and right job analysis, description and evaluation at all level to achieve best practice, competitive remuneration and attract right talent into the Company. • Ensure that effective controls are in place to accurately and timely calculate and pay staff on periodic basis. • Ensure accurate and timely remuneration review, efficient and error free payroll processing for all permanent, temporary, and contracted employees in the Company. • Develop high level and strategic networking with other regional and international HR fraternity to acquire new ideas and best practices for customized adaptation into the Company’s HR policy, procedures and practices.

Administration Management • Lead, Plan and manage the Company’s administrative requirements to ensure smooth and high performing environment. • Ensure accurate and on time delivery of all employee/ company - government related services (registrations, visas, permits, etc. • Plan, budget and manage all the company’s offices in terms of maintenance ,tidiness ,furniture ,stationaries and renovation .

HSSE • Ensure and steers high standards of HSSE policies, procedures, security and cultures in the Company to protect company’s assets including people, the environment and company’s reputation in the market. • Plan and conduct work place inspections, risk assessments and safety audit as proactive and preventive measures to ensure safe operations. • Ensure all necessary policies, procedures and controls are in place for all sectors of the Company’s operations, to ensure maximum total loss control and fast recovery. • Provides professional advice on all technical, operational and HSE matters to the functional heads to support decision making processes to achieve the desired performance targets, staff training & development, re-structuring & re-organising and setting the Company’s HSE standards.

Previous Role (2008 to 2013 in oman oil marketing company) GM operations, engineering, HSSE Accountable to lead, plan, direct and manage the engineering, operations, logistics and HSSE functions of the businesses to ensure competitive, safe and quality engineering design, operations and services for the Company.

Develop and manage effectively the whole spectrum of engineering procurement, tendering, designing, installations, commissioning and project management to ensure safe, compliant, efficient and optimum operations of the business through sound engineering practices and strategies. • Plan and provide for strategic, tactical and operational engineering supports for all the business functions (retail, commercial, aviation, card services & lubes businesses) in order to achieve competitive, safe and sustainable business. • Ensure economic planning and implementation of the logistics requirements for the businesses including optimum scheduling, planning and distribution to ensure smooth continuity of supplies to all customers. • Manage all the engineering projects and maintenance of all assets at MAF terminal, aviation depot, filling stations and commercial customer installations. All major development projects executed for the company are managed by this post.

Accomplishments • 20 years of oil and gas experience includes 5last years in fuel industry. • Saved RO 1.5 mln in marmul 18in pipeline project • World record in pipeline construction by laying down 21km in one day of 48inch pipeline • Developed award scheme in oomco (ahlain spot bonus) • Developed oomco HSSE management system which was adapted by other organizations • Excellent record during all inclement weather crisis in fuel supply to all required sites in 24hrs without accident on the road with the largest logistics owned fleet and driven by 100% Omani drivers.
