User unable to connect to an account. • If the user is able to connect to other accounts but unable to connect to a particular one after switching to it in the host selector there is a chance the settings are not correct. 1.Check are the Extext Settings. Make sure the IP Addresses are correct for the account that is showing in the host selector.

  4. User unable to connect to an account. • If they are not correct proceed follow the steps below: • Switch to another account, the account does not matter but you cannot change the settings if you are on the account you are changing them for. • Proceed to the following file C:\DNHosts\<Account Name>\<Account Name>.ini.

  5. User unable to connect to an account. • Steps continued • Look for the wrong IP Address in this file and change it to the correct IP Address. You may or may not see the voice server listed her. If you do see the voice server IP change it if not just leave it be. • Save the file and switch back to the account in the host selector and try to connect.

  6. User unable to connect to an account. 2. If the settings are correct try doing a manual upgrade. Once the upgrade is complete and if the problem is fix make sure and save the account back to the host selector. For versions older than 7 you will need to create a new entry in the host selector refer to page 8. Also make sure to delete the old account by referring to page 9 For versions newer than 7 just open the host selector and click Update Current.

  7. Host Selector Crashing • This step applies to Host selector version older than 7.0. If the host selector is crashing when trying to switch between accounts check to see how many files are in their temp folder. • To check the temp folder go to Start>Run and type in %temp%. Click on View at the top of the window and select Status Bar if there is no check next to it. If there are over 30,000 object in this folder than clean the folder out.

  8. Saving to the Host Selector • Open the Host Selector and select Add New Site.

  9. Saving to the Host Selector • Type in a new name for the account and click Save. Allow time for it to save.

  10. Deleting from the Host Selector • Click on Delete Existing

  11. Deleting from the Host Selector • Click Yes to proceed, it will allow you to select an account after clicking Yes.

  12. Deleting from the Host Selector • Select the account and click Ok. Allow time for deletion.
