  1. Big Data, DistributedSystemand Hadoop -Training Data, as we all know, is the fuel for today's era. Huge data is being generated and consumed all over the world. Previously, few organizations produced data. They were mainly consumers rather than producers. However, now it is different. The population is increasing day by day and so is the production and consumption of data. Now, the question comes how is Big Datadifferent from normal traditional data? Introduction - BigData Data with a huge size that is different from normal data that forces you to take a different approach to process and store it is called Big Data. A few characteristics of Big Data are - Volume - the size of the data that is generated by individuals and organizations. Variety - the variety of data refers to the type of data, that is, whether the data is structured or unstructured or semi-structured. Velocity - velocity defines the rate at which data is being generated. Now, the question comes: who is generating Big Data - Social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, e-commerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart, real-time searches carried out by the search engines like Google, Mozilla Firefox, etc. Traditional Ways of storing and processingdata We know that data is no island that is, data is never isolated. Rather, it is interconnected. Previously, we used files and folders to store data. Then came the era of computers and we used local storage to store our data. But, nowadays data - owing to its huge size, is stored in acloud. Concept of Distributed System A distributed system is a collection of autonomous systems that are used to store and process data. These systems act as a single synchronous system. The concept of the distributed system is used in the storage and processing of big data as you cannot store data in zetabytes on your local computer. Courses on BigData

  2. Big datais widely used by companies. So, acquiring this skill is a must if you are from a data-science background. There are myriad courses availableonline. What does this course cover? This course on Big Data discusses the basics of data, introduces you to the concept of a distributed system and how it is used for storing and pre-processing data and listing the applications of the distributed system in the real world. After that, you are introduced to the concept of Big data with the help of the restaurant analogy. Then it discusses the Hadoop cluster, the basic structure of the cluster and briefs you about setting a single-node Hadoop cluster in a Linux system. This course further discusses the concept of YARN. At last, you finish the course by doing a project. Then in the second half of the course, we start with Apache Spark and Hadoop Pig. You can take this tutorial parallel with Datacamp's 'Apache Spark with Python'course. If you are looking for an economical course that will help you with the basics in the field of big data then this is the best you canget. Why thiscourse? This big datatraining course uses the analogy method to explain to you the basics so that the information is retained by you for a longer duration. This course provides you with both practical and theoretical knowledge at thesame.
