  2. Student Formats – What’s Used • Proprietary Design<-Licensed • iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad App • BlackBerry App • Web Based<-Licensed • Laptop • Generic SmartPhone • Clicker <-Unlicensed • RF Clicker (not IR clicker)

Licensed versus Unlicensed • Unlicensed clicker at higher cost • Apps for phones is free • License to use in class available in 3 flavors • http://store.turningtechnologies.com • 1 year • 2 year • 4 year • Just like clicker, license is good for any class using TurningPoint throughout its duration

Let’s do a Clicker (Quiz 1 stuff) • You’ll see a session ID or Clicker Response Card Chanel on the Screen • Activate/login your machines • A question will be presented, you will have a short time to answer it. • You are logged and recorded on my gradebook. • Polling closes and we can discuss class results

  8. Channel Setting Instructions for ResponseCard RF1. Press and release the "GO" or "CH" button.2. While the light is flashing red and green, enter the 2 digit channel code (i.e. channel 1 = 01, channel 21 = 21).3. After the second digit is entered, Press and release the "GO" or "CH" button. The light should flash green to confirm.

  13. Syllabus and Course Layout Fin 3320 Required for All COB Majors Objective is to provide working knowledge of key elements of finance. Applicable for all majors. • Course is designed to be attainable but you must keep up with work and assignments • 4 exams and homework/quiz grade (20% each) • Resources: Me (Mark Moore); Lead GA (Mr. Jun Li); Second GA (Mr. Bahtyar Babanazarov). • Office Hours; Learning Lab Help Desks; Discussion Board

  14. Finance Help Desk Resources • Monday and Wednesday 12-2pm in BA 253 • Wednesday Evenings – 6-9pm in LH202 and BA 253 • These Labs will be staffed by the Graduate Assistants • We are Working on setting up the Tuesday and Thursday Lab Locations and Times.
