This announcement provides detailed information regarding manning levels and conversion opportunities for submarine duty, specifically for Fiscal Year 2016. Currently, manning is at 100%, with a slight increase to 101% anticipated. Applicants with YG 2006 or 2008-2011 who wish to convert must complete a volunteer package, pass the required physical, and obtain a security clearance as per DONCAF standards. Refer to NAVAMIN 150/13 with questions concerning CNAV skill sets. • Convert in opportunities for YG 2006, 2008-2011. All applicants (convert in) selected for conversion by the Sub ECM are required to complete a Submarine volunteer package, pass a Submarine Physical and to be screened by PERS 403 for Submarine Duty. • Security clearance is required for this rating.
