Ciò che permette alle api di orientarsi è il fatto che esse (come pure numerosi altri insetti, crostacei, aracnidi e molluschi) sono sensibili alla luce parzialmente polarizzata che filtra attraverso l'atmosfera celeste. Avete mai sentito parlare della polarizzazione?
