Setting Up The Drive And Its Owner Account: • Check to ensure that yourrouter is turned off. • Now,connect the driveto your router using an Ethernet cable. • Plug the drive’s power cable into a working power outlet. • Turn onthe router followed by the drive. • Wait for the drive to connect to your network. • Once the drive is connected to the network, theLED becomes solid white. • Connect yourWindows or Mac computer, or smartphoneto the same network to which the drive is connected. Now, you can set up the owner account using the web browser or your computer.

  3. Using A Computer • Open the Seagate Personal Cloud drive on your computer. For Windows • Open File Explorer. • Click Networks > Personal Cloud > Public. • Locate and double-click on the Personal Cloud drive. For Mac • Open Finder. • Go to the Shared section. • Click the Personal Cloud option. • Double-click on the Personal Cloud option. Create the Seagate owner accountby following the on-screen instructions.

Using the Personal Cloud app (using a web browser): • Go to the Seagate Personal Cloud drive’s web access page from your computer browser. • Type yourSeagate owner account’s credentialsin the given fields. • Click Sign in. • Now, the screen displaying the drives linked with this account will open. • Select the Personal Cloud drive andaccess the data stored on itas per your preferences and needs. Using the Seagate Media app: • Install and open the Seagate Media app on your smartphone. • Tap More > Settings > Remote Access > Seagate Personal Cloud. • Sign in to your Seagate owner account. Select your drive and access the data as per your preferences
