Lessons Learned: Regina • Without much jet dynamics, precipitation tends to be light. • The Canadian meteo sensors are better at noticing freezing drizzle • Temperatures do not move very much when there is low clouds and light winds.

Lessons Learned: Minot • A light upslope flow leads to low ceilings, reduced visibility and generally light precipitation, particularly when the moisten boundary layer is lifted by a short wave. • Diurnal variations are quite small(3F) compared to normal (19F) when thick clouds are present and an strong low-level inversion.
