IT: SFSF Post Secondary Phase I - Spring 2011 Reporting Period: June 2011 Scope and Objectives • Receive & store the following data: • Enrollment & graduation data from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), covering 20 Community Colleges and 3 Arizona State Universities. • ACT scores from ACT. • Completion of at least one year's worth of college credit within two years of enrollment, from Arizona State universities and Community Colleges. • Remedial coursework from Arizona community colleges and 3 Arizona Universities will be derived from ASSIST. • SLDS core data elements: Student transition data, remedial enrollment, IHE enrollment, students w/ college credit w/in 2 yrs enrollment in IHE • Automation of Data Transmission between Institutions & ADE Data warehouse Milestones Project Status June Achievements Plans Next Month • File Spec handoff to Tech. • Submitted ETL Process Design & Received Requirements Approval • Held requirements walk-through • Completed Output/Customer reporting design • Performed Gap Analysis • Engaged Attorney General office & FERPA specialist (ABOR Attorney) to begin drafting agreement between ADE and IHE’s for data exchange. • ADE to Send High School Student File to ASSIST • Establish data portal for ASSIST to send file to ADE • Continue Data Portal Build • Define Test Conditions • Receive TEST file from ASSIST • Customer Reporting & Technical Design Sign-off Risks / Issues / Change Requests
