  2. INTERNET & EDUCATION AT ISRAEL • Begin at high school level,early as 1970’s in computer science studies • 1990,ministry of education promote science and technology in education system

  3. 3 BEST PRACTISES USING INTERNET IN ISRAEL • It devided by 3 perspective:- • CONTENT DELIVERY • SNUNIT& The Center Of Educational Technology(CET) portal- • It’s a large portal including a lot of information ,online libraries,databases,e-journal,varied subject matters & for all level • Student & teachers used it to find a information in learning lesson

  4. INSTRUCTION DELIVERY • One of the learning process • The English Global Village(AmalNet)- help student to improve their english & competency using the internet.Activities based on guided research,teach them using internet,assimilating a new vocabulary & generating report

  5. - The Hospitalized Children School- To enrichment program of studies & distance learning using network facilities and video camera.

  6. COMMUNICATION SUPPORT • Example: • The Meteor Center- Science & Technology Center for 5-6 years kids is designed as a home, allowing children to experience daily usage of home technology and appliances including ICT. - In the Internet-based activities,children from different kindergartens communicate with each other regarding common topics or stories. - A special iconic language ("smilies" using all keyboard characters) was developed, and continues evolving along as the collaborative learning activity proceeds.

The Learning Communities of students and TeachersMatar (TelAviv University and CET)- It offers teachers a forum for professional dialog and mutual enrichment, communication channels with experts regarding both pedagogical and disciplinary issues, exchange channels for ideas,pedagogical resources and teaching materials, and access to virtual courses.

WHAT ABOUT US?? • In Malaysia education,we also use internet in our learning. • For example: • E-LIBRARIES- (UMLIB)-it content a lot of information and guided us to find books,article,meaning,video or others • PORTAL- -www.cikgu.net.my- as a platform for student and teachers to discussion,get information and more.it includes forum,radio,games,chatroom etc

  9. TUTOR: www.tutor.com.my- it have a lot of information about studies,note,practises,past year question and more - It help teacher to make a lesson plan,test question and reference to used it in lesson in the class

CONCLUSION • Alot resources and knowledge using internet that can be provided to teachers and students • ability to reach people at the one time in multiple locations • Make providing students with choice • It creation of vibrant learning communities • Intertnet is flexibility, accessibility and interactivity • It use of shared resources and advantage of up-to-date resources.
