The 10 NS Themes • Economic, Business and Commerce, Labour Market, Tourism, Local Government Finance, Agriculture and Fisheries • Transport and Travel • Education and Training • Population and Migration • Health and Care • Social and Welfare • Crime and Justice • Built Environment • Natural Environment • Neighbourhood Statistics SCOTSTAT Health and Care Committee

  4. Committee Remit • To identify the key strategic statistical information required by all interested parties, and to develop and implement a strategy for prioritising and meeting these needs while minimising, where possible, the burden on data suppliers and maintaining quality SCOTSTAT Health and Care Committee

  5. Committee Membership • Membership could include representatives from: • Data suppliers • Umbrella organisations eg Audit Scotland • External experts • Relevant government departments • Other interest groups e.g private and voluntary bodies, trade unions SCOTSTAT Health and Care Committee

  6. Relationship with other consultative groups • How can we add value to SCOTSTAT? • How do we fit with other groups such as • SWSLG, Social Work Services Liaison Group • PHIP, Public Health Information Programme • ARCG, Assessment Review Co-ordination Group • JPIAF • Learning Networks • ISD Steering Group • ISD Programme Groups SCOTSTAT Health and Care Committee
