Conclusions

Balancing trade and road transport facilitation and security can become reality if UN Trade and Road Transport Facilitation Conventions are used as implementing tools of the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards:

  • Easy to implement
  • Avoids thousands of bilateral Agreements
  • Ensures required security level
