  6. HIGH SCHOOL ASSESSMENTS • There are 4 High School Assessments (HSA) that must be passed: - Algebra 1 412 - Biology 400 - English 10 396 - NSL Gov. 394 TOTAL 1602

  7. DHS COURSE REGISTRATION • Course level recommendations done by 1st semester teachers in January • Registration materials to students in early March • Students return completed and signed registration card • Course offering booklet distributed to all DHS students during registration

  8. Senior Schedule Considerations • Senior schedule is important in admission decisions • Taking AP and honors level courses • Seniors must schedule a full schedule • Abbreviated schedule for 2nd semester • Internships and OJT • Taking college courses • Mid-year report process

  9. PSAT Results • Scores reports mailed early December • Scores in Critical Reading, Math, and Writing Skills • Determines National Merit awards • Analysis given for all answers: - rates the question (e, m, h) - gives the correct answer - gives suggestions on improving skills - test booklets will be returned to students WWW.collegeboard.com/psatextra
