Engaging Attendance Analysis: A Higher Order Thinking Activity

This interactive activity encourages students to analyze and interpret attendance data. Participants will assess the number of students present and absent, explore gender distribution, and make connections to the breakfast crate and lunch card distribution. The activity promotes critical thinking by comparing today’s attendance with yesterday's, rating the current attendance, and predicting future attendance. Additionally, students will brainstorm alternative ways to visually display the collected data, fostering creativity and analytical skills in a real-world context.
