  1. NORWICH MERCHANTS JR. C HOCKEY GAME DAY SPONSOR The Norwich Merchants are a Non-Profit Organizational Junior C Hockey Club playing in the Mid-Western Junior C League out of the Nor-Del Arena in Norwich, Ontario. The team, that began operations in 1968 prides itself on hard work, passion, integrity, intensity and skill to produce the best Junior Club in Ontario with the ultimate goal of winning a Provincial Championship. The two-time Ontario Champions have a solid fan base, not only within the Township of Norwich, but throughout Norfolk, Brant and Oxford Counties. These Passionate fans are known to pack the Nor-Del Arena on Game Nights (Majority 8pm on Fridays) cheering loudly for the boys in red and white. The Norwich Merchants have been one of the more successful clubs in Recent History, having been in The Division Championship Series for 16 Consecutive Seasons and Appearing in the Niagara Championship Series in 9 of those seasons. One Constant with the Merchants has been Winning. The Club has had a winning record for 19 consecutive years and has only had a losing record in 7 of their 45 years, with 36 Winning Season Records and 2 at .500. In the 2012-2013, the team started strong starting the season with 4 straight victories. Throughout the first half of the season, the club battled for First Place with the New Hamburg Firebirds and Paris Mounties. By the second Half, Paris had slipped, but Norwich maintained a strong battle with the Firebirds. A late season slide saw the club end in Second Place at 29-7-2 good for 60 points, 6 behind New Hamburg. The year also saw Norwich capture the top Goaltender award for the 15th consecutive season, which went to Matt McGonigle, Trevor Fleming and Zach Easveld (80 Goals Against in 38 Games = 2.10 GAA). Norwich also won Most Sportsmanship Player, which went to Captain Tom Brady (18 Penalty Minutes in 33 Games while accumulating 40 Points) and Co-Rookie of the year, which went to Gus Ford (19 Goals, 22 Assists for 41 Points). In the Playoffs, Norwich received a first round bye and would take on the Paris Mounties in Round 2. The Merchants triumphed over Paris in 5 games outscoring them 21-9 in the process. The team would take on New Hamburg for the Division Championship and the first 4 games, saw the clubs split at 2 apiece before New Hamburg took the crown winning games 5 & 6. We are open for any new ideas that you may have that would benefit both the team and your business.

Table is set up so Patrons have to pass to gain access to rink • Premier Game Selection (Event Nights, Chili Party, Meet the Players, Etc) • Minimum SEVEN advertisements over P.A system on Sponsored Night • 10 Free Game Passes for Sponsored Game • Additional 5 Free Game Passes to be used for any Regular Season Game • 2 Free Tickets to Fall Fish Fry • Full Page Insert into Game Day Program • Inclusion in Ceremonial Face-Off and Singing of National Anthem (If Desired) * Ceremonial Face-Off subject to change if prior commitment already established (Example – Hall of Fame Inductee) • - Signage in Blueline Room and/or Rink to be provided by your Business • - Company Logo on Poster Board with all other Game Sponsors to be displayed in Blueline Room throughout regular season.
