  3. Design • Device that moves along current-carrying ceiling rail • Remotely controlled • Requires a modified ceiling rail design

  4. How it works: • Current from rail powers motor • Also charges a small battery • Battery powers device when not connected to DC power • Other appliances can be attached to the bottom • Remotely controlled by touch screen computer on wall

  6. Problems solved • Allows for rearranging of room without getting on a ladder • Moving Security Cameras • Ideal for high ceilings • Any Room • Auditorium • Lecture Hall • Retirement Home • Banquet Halls • Clubs

  8. Improvements / Future? • Possible with technology today • Strengthen rails and device to allow for heavier loads • System to transport vehicle from floor to ceiling and vice-versa • Partner Companies Could Be – GE, Siemens, Tyco RC, Apple
