Thefree accessPrototype denominated “ITU-R/ITU-T Terms and Definitions” was created with a view to establishing a common tool for all ITU Sectors and for the General Secretariat in order to harmonize and unify the existing terminology. This integrated Database, dealing with terms and definitions, with references to ITU Publications contained in the ITU-R and ITU-T texts,includes: the radiocommunication vocabulary(Database created under the auspices of the Radiocommunication Advisory Group (RAG) and the Coordination Committee for Vocabulary (CCV) which, at the present time, consists of more than 2 700 terms in three languages of which 1 100 terms in the six languages of the Union),as well as the ITU-T Terms and Definitions Database. The integrated Database will be updated regularly by the Sectors. The aim of this integrated Database is to provide a reference for experts (Sector Members, Member States, Study Groups, SG Rapporteurs, Translators and Editors) as well as users external to the ITU.
