Características: • Predomina lo ilógico antes que la razón • Es importante el azar y rebeldía • Se inspira en el inconsciente e imaginación • Las uniones de imágenes son espontáneas y fluidas, sin hacer caso a la coherencia o sentido • Anima lo inanimado • Interpreta la realidad desde la irracionalidad, sueño y magia • Tienen perspectiva exagerada (profundidad)

  3. Técnicas: • El Collage y acoplo de objetos incoherentes • El Frottage • La fotografía y cinematografía • El automatismo • El arte de los pueblos primitivos, niños y dementes • Preferencia por títulos largos y misteriosos • La decalcomanía • El Grattage

  4. Importancia del Color • El uso del color derivan del expresionismo ruso y el cubismo • El color es utilizado para fortalecer el carácter onírico de las obras. • La intensidad del trazo en el color es muy importante • No posee una gama cromática característica • Con Dalí, el manejo del color esta en relación a la forma • Se caracteriza por tener colores brillantes
