Investigating the Impact of Launch Angle on Paper Airplane Flight Distance
This study explores whether the angle at which a paper airplane is thrown affects its flight distance. The hypothesis posits that launching the plane into the wind will result in a longer flight due to wind assistance when the plane is about to descend. The experiment involves creating paper airplanes using 8x10 inch paper, securing them with glue or tape, utilizing scissors for design adjustments, and conducting multiple trials at varying launch angles. Results will be analyzed to determine the correlation between angle and distance, supported by relevant bibliographic resources.

Question • Will the angle of where you throw a paper airplane affect how far/long the paper plane will fly?
Hypothesis • I think if you throw the plane to where the wind is blowing it is going to fly for a long time because if it is about to fall the wind can blow it back up.
Material • Paper-8x10 sized paper that is not very thin. • Glue/Tape-Needs to be very sticky or the plane can break while in flight mode. • Scissors-You need to cut the paper to make it in any kind of style you want it to be, and to give the plane its rudders and stuff that make it go up and down and side to side.
