Ajmer pushkar sightseeing About us - Ajmer is one of the oldest cities in India Although Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the shrine of KhwajaMuin-ud-din Chishti, remains as the most famous tourist places to visit in Ajmer. Ajmer is also a well-known learning centre. Pushkar is a city in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Pushkar is famous for its annual fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) featuring a trading fete of cattle, horses and camels. It is held over seven days in autumn marking Kartika Purnima according to the Hindu calendar (Kartik (month), October or November).

  2. Khawaja Gharibnawaz Dargah Ajmer Ajmer Sharif is a Sufi shrine of Moinuddin Chishti, a very highly revered Sufi saint of the Muslim community. Located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, this shrine houses the grave (Maqbara) of saint Chisti. Dargah Ajmer or Khawaja Gharibnawaz Dargah Ajmer is a holy place where one can experience divinity in the air.

  3. Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra 'Adhai din ka hut' was built in 1192 AD by QutubuddinAibak on the orders of Afghan general Mohammad Ghori. Actually there was a huge Sanskrit school (school) and temple at this place, which was demolished and converted into a mosque.

Brahma Temple & Pushkar Lake Brahma Temple, Pushkar is a Hindu temple situated at Pushkar in the Indian state of Rajasthan, close to the sacred Pushkar Lake to which its legend has an indelible link. The temple is one of very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator-god Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them.

  5. Ana Sagar Lake Ana Sagar Lake is an artificial lake located in the city of Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan in India. It was built by Prithviraj Chauhan’s grandfather Arnoraja (aka Anna) in 1135–1150 AD and is named after him. He built this lake for the betterment of civilization. Originally, Anasagar Lake was created by constructing a dam on the "Luni or Lavnavari River".

  6. Savitri Temple Savitri Temple is situated on Ratnagiri hill which is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Savitri. This temple is fixed on a high hill. In this temple you will find idols of both the wives of Lord Brahma named Savitri and Gayatri. But as per the tradition one always worships Goddess Savitri and then Goddess Gayatri is worshipped. Visitors can then go up to the temple gate. The ropeway ride is really fun from where you can get a terrific view of the Pushkar city.
