2. Intro. Today I have researched a lot about dolphins. Sit back and let me tell you about this intelligent species.

3. Habitat First of all, let’s talk about a dolphins habitat. Let me tell you that a dolphins usually lives in bays, lagoons, harbors, gulfs and “tributaries”. Most people agree that dolphins migrate if the water gets too cold or if there is not enough food. All dolphins like different kinds of water depends what they like to live in, some dolphins might like close to the land and hot water and others might like deep cool water.

4. Adaptations Now let’s talk about adaptations. Interestingly enough, a dolphins brain only sleeps half at night, the other looks out for danger. Unexpectedly, a dolphin mostly hears from its lower jaw. You will find that dolphins have a streamlined body that helps them swim faster.

5. Predator/Prey Let’s start talking about a dolphins food or the animal that eats it. Surely, a dolphin is an omnivore so he eats shrimp, fish, kelp and squid. Are you aware that a dolphin doesn’t chew they just swallow whole (Their teeth are used for grabbing on to the creature they ate) ? It is interesting to learn that a dolphin gets eaten by an Orcas or by Great White Sharks, but sometimes they can’t catch the dolphins because they’re too fast.

6. Appearance Dolphins are intelligent creatures and interesting to learn about, but they are also very interesting to look at too. Dolphins have a single blowhole on their head. Most dolphin’s not all but most dolphin’s have gray skin (some dolphins have blue or pink). A dolphin has a smooth rubbery body.

7. Life-Span This will be my last informational paragraph and I’ll spend it talking about a dolphins life span. Interestingly, some dolphins live up to 50/48 or 25/20 years old! But some don’t, all dolphins are different.
