Advisors: Prof. Jan Allebach and Prof. Edward Delp Application Description Team Member Boiler Route This application is capable of choosing the quickest route for students to get to their desired destination, using both walking and Purdue’s bus routes. Users will also be able to know the weather information, distance, and total time taken of the trip. The idea behind this application is that we wanted to help students who are not familiar with campus to find the best way to get to class. Sensor Involved: GPS API Used: Google Map API 2, Weather API Renjun Zhang Wei Keat Khor Ran An Chris Cooper Block Diagram Weather information Future Development Current User Interface • Our next goal is to calculate the time taken to travel to the desired destination from current location. • Receive bus data information and project the time taken to travel from one place to the other.
