  2. 1. PI’s support at Kourou • 2 slots identified: a) Pre-launch activities b) Launch • All local expenses to be borne by the PI teams • ESA Launch Campaign team provides some logistics support PR-4256-LB

  3. 2. Access to CSG • CSG security form to be filled in by the PI team individuals likely to go to Kourou. To be returned to Rosetta Project office (ESTEC) before end July 02 • Arrival information to be given to the ESA Rosetta Launch Campaign office minimum 10 days before planned arrival date PR-4256-LB

  4. 3. Hotel Bookings A) Before launch: • To be handled by the PI teams directly B) Launch: • Attendance to be limited • Hotel bookings will be coordinated by ESA, based on PI’s attendance list PR-4256-LB

  5. 4. Medical • Climate hot and humid • Yellow fever vaccination mandatory • Other “standard” vaccinations - check validity periods! • Malaria: Kourou and CSG vicinities declared safe. Any tour in the mangrove can become risky PR-4256-LB
