Arkansas Center for Executive LeadershipLeader-to-Leader Program • 24 superintendents selected • Funded through a Walton Family Foundation Grant • Association with Arkansas Tech University • 6 Advanced leadership sessions beginning on Thursday evenings through Saturday • 1 session at Columbia University in New York City

  6. Classroom Walk-Throughs • 3 hrs CWT training for principals Sept 21 • Walk-throughs will be done a minimum of once per week. • Board members invited to join. • Principals and teachers will use data to evaluate building goals. • Not a tool for gathering information about individual teachers.

  7. Technology Report 9-24-12

  8. Technology Work List Prioritization • 1. Business Critical – What people need in order perform their duties. Ex: APSCN, Email, Teacher Computers, Teacher Projectors and Document Cameras, Communication. • 2. Instructional impact – Ex: how many students? • 3. Superintendent and Principal Input – teachers can discuss their priorities with principals.
