Tweeting is sending short messages to anyone who follows you on Twitter. Another description of Twitter and tweeting might be microblogging.   10. Snapchat • 190 million daily active users as of July 2019 • Only mobile app • Snapchat is a free mobile messaging application used to share photos, videos, text and drawings. Snapchat differs from other forms of texting and photo sharing: the messages disappear from the recipient’s phone after a few seconds. You can create as many boards for your pins as you want, which is great for organization. Pinterest users interact with each other through liking, commenting, and repinning each other’s stuff. You can even create and upload your own videos to share with others. Originally created in 2005, YouTube is now one of the most popular sites on the Web, with visitors watching around 6 billion hours of video every month.   15. WhatsApp • 1.5 billion users • WhatsApp is a free to download messenger app for smartphones. WhatsApp uses the internet to send messages, images, audio or video. Founded in 2009 by ex-Yahoo employees it started as a small startup and swelled to 250,000 users in just a few months, growing so fast that they had to add a charge for using the service per year to slow the subscription rate down. In 2014, WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook and has seen continued growth, reaching the 1 billion mark in July 2017. Protect and Improve the Health and Environment of all Kansans
