  5. Blog Man Twitters • You can blog by tweeting • You can blog on Facebook • You can blog on My Space • You can blog on EdBlogs • You can blog on Yahoo • You can blog on Google • Lots of places But you can’t blog in a swamp, that’s a bog

  6. GadZooks Blog Man When Can I Blog • You blog in the morning • You can blog at night • You can blog in the evening • You can blog under the porch light But you can’t blog during the school day at a lot of schools due to firewalls and admin policy

Why O, Why O, Would I Blog In Ohio • Students to shy to speak in front of others • Extension of the lesson • Digital Natives LOVE to share what they know or don’t know • Opportunities to hear other ideas and voices • Reduces communication barriers with bi-lingual students and parents • It fits in well with Gardners Multi-Intelligences • Higher Order Thinking Skills

  12. Sooo…Let’s Blog This All Up A Blog can be an educational tool designed to engage gifted, struggling, challenged and bi-lingual learners in the educational process.

  13. And…. It can be used as a method of assessment or as an extended, interactive instructional exercise that actives the imaginations of digital natives.

  14. And…. It reinforces the informational schema of students by creating a platform whereby students can use their multiple methods of learning and expression in order to process and make sense of the world around them.
